B.J. was my very first chinchilla, he was a standard gray, male chinchilla.
He was paired with his lovely female, Chloe, who was also a standard gray chin. They had three lovely babies (all from separate litters). He died after 8 years of life and was given a proper burial.

Chloe was my “eldest” chin, since BJ died. She was a standard gray female chinchilla and had given birth to 3 lovely babies.
She recently passed away before Christmas 2005 - she was either 10 or 11 years old.
She too will be given a proper burial next to her first mate, BJ.

Max is my “big girl” of the clan. I adopted her from a pet store, she came from a divorced family. She is a standard gray female and has given birth to a total of 8 babies (so far)..
She is a bit feisty and has some bad habits, but she is still by “big girl” and love her despite her bad habits.

Casper is my beige/pink chinchilla. He is paired with Max above. He is a great dad to all his babies that arrive. He has a great personality and makes frequent trips to the local nursing home to visit his favorite patient.

Missy is the daughter of Max and Casper. She has most of Max’s traits (big girl) but is very sweet like Casper. She is paired with Trystan and has had several litters already. She is a good mom.
|

Trystan literally “flew” into our hearts from Janie in Texas. He is a silver/gray mosaic and is missing his front paw (complication from birth), but this doesn’t slow him down. He is paired with Missy and they are excellent parents to several litters already.

Patches was purchased from a local breeder. She is a ebony/white female. She has patches of gray(black) on her back, thus the reason for naming her Patches. She is paired with Smokey (below) and will hopefully have beautiful babies soon!

Smokey is my youngest male chin. He is an ebony male. He has a wonderful personality and loves to cuddle, lay on his back with his belly in the air and last but not least, run in his wheel. He is paired now with Patches, and will have lots of cute babies with her!
